How pre-orders, goals, and payouts work on PageFairy.

How do pre-orders work?

You create a pre-order page and set a goal, for example 50 orders. Customers pre-order by authorizing a payment on their card. Nothing is charged until you confirm the campaign was a success.

What happens if I don't hit my goal?

No one is charged. The card holds are released and your customers keep their money. You keep the demand data, so you know whether to adjust the idea or the pitch.

When do I get paid?

Payments are captured the moment you confirm a successful campaign. The money then goes to your bank on Stripe's standard payout schedule.

What does it cost?

It's free to start and no card is required. See Pricing for what each plan includes.

Do I need my own store or a developer?

No. PageFairy hosts your page and handles checkout. You get one link you can drop straight into your bio.

Is my customers' card information safe?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, so card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by PageFairy.
